My Life Update :)

SO, I have some excited news to share with everyone... no I'm not pregnant...

But, I have accepted a position back at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. YAY. Justin and I are moving to Atlanta (again) some time in the next month. I start sometime in mid-December - I'm actually part of the gainfully employed again. I am so happy I quit and moved home a year ago, but I am definitely glad to be working soon again. I think Dad is probably the most excited - I'm sure he's tired of seeing me sit around the house with nothing to do!!

What are everyone's plans for the holidays? Anything exciting?

Dad, Roopal, Justin and I had a great time in India (for those of you wondering). We travelled to Karnataka and briefly to Kerala for about 8 days. We went to Coorg, Kabini, Vythri, and Mysore. The places we stayed were mostly "wildlife" resorts. We stayed at coffee plantation in Coorg; the location was quite impressive, in the middle of a forest. Our resort in Kabini was right on the Kabini river, across from two national forests. In Kabini we saw a vast variety of wildlife including various species of birds, monkeys, deer, sambhar, and WILD ELEPHANTS! We even got chased by a wild elephant during our jeep safari. It was all very exciting. Vythri was on a "hill station" in the middle of a rain forest. We had to brave leeches and monkeys at the resort, but it was definitely a beautiful place. And, last but not least, Mysore was a very neat city with a good bit of history. I highly recommend going to Kabini if anyone has the chance. It was my favorite because of all the animals we got to see.

Hopefully I will have the pics of India posted on Picasa soon to share with everyone.

Oh - and I'll soon be posted about the first ever 2009 AMIN FAMILY RACE TO GET FIT competition/event. Tinu Kaka, Satish Kaka, Mina Kaki, and Dad all agreed to this scheme of roopal and mine so I hope all the other Amin Family members will join in on the fun! Keep an eye on the blog this week for all the details.....
